Hawkewynde IT is local to the Perth metropolitan area, the main focus of Hawkewynde IT is to provide a mobile information technology service to home users and small to medium enterprises. The service and support is delivered by qualified people who have experience in the industry.
There are a few warranties that are underwritten at Hawkewynde IT.
Standard Warranty. The first to explain is our system warranties, these warranties are either current one or two years after the purchase of our product. They deal with the components listed in our warranty certificate for a particular system and cover faulty parts or poor workmanship.
Extended or Maintenance Warranty. Warranties in this classification are for consumers that need extra coverage of the existing warranty conditions. Two given examples how this warranty works is: (A.) Having bought our system through a leasing agent and the lease period is longer than the standard warrranty for that system. (B.) Serveral machines have been bought and connected to a network such as a LAN, a maintenance contract has been arranged and with that would come with a warranty covering the mainenance contract.
These warranties are purchased. They are drawn in contract format to meet the end users warranty needs. As a contract they legally bind Hawkewynde IT and the end user to the warranty conditions.
Manufacturer's Warranties. As a reseller of computer components and related appliances we honour the manufacturer's warranty. A manufacturer however may not have the same service as we offer but in most cases we can augment our own services with the manufacturer to provide a better service for the end user.
General Conditions. All warranties above include: onsite service of the warranty if in the Perth metropolitan area, back to base (Hawkewynde IT establishment) for any other areas unless specified. The "Warranty Void if removed" seals are there to prove tampering of a system. Your warranty be intact unless the tampering can be proved that it caused the fault claimed as warranty.
Our warranty seals state "Warranty void if removed", Western Australia's Ministry of Fair Trading state that this is not always the case. The warranty seals are placed on the unit and components inside the unit to dectect tampering. Hawkewynde IT contacted the Ministry of Fair Trading on this matter. The end interpretation being that if the fault of the unit is found to be a result of tampering, the warranty issued with the unit may not be claimed by the consumer.
The consumer should take into consideration that although breaking or removing the seal may not void the warranty but it leaves strong evidence that suggests that the unit has been tampered with. If the damage can be attributed to tampering, then the warranty can not be claimed by the consumer. If ever a Hawkewynde IT customer is in doubt of the warranty seals, the best action is to contact Hawkewynde IT concerning the matter.
Other issues that would effect the warranty of a Hawkewynde product would incude: Any faults caused by work performed by personnel other that Hawkewynde IT approved technicians; the use and/or intallation of non approved products both hardware and software; damage as a result of a computer virus infection.
Consumers must aware the Hawkewynde build and upgrade computers and associated equipment to operate at their optimum level within the customer's original request. Customers are responsible for outcomes if they choose to install and use products (that were not discussed during the quote period) after the purchase of the computer.
Hawkwynde IT has no hidden fees or special offers. Everything the consumer is getting is listed on the Quote Certificate, view the example below.
The quote above provides contact details of the consumer and Hawkewynde IT. A system cost amount has been added for consumers to see what the actual system quoted price is. The "Quoted Price" is the all inclusive price that consumer would be expected to pay for the products listed. Under "In Simple Terms" is description of the system quoted and what it is capable of doing in layman's terms.
One thing that Hawkewynde never compromises on is the quality of components that are put into a system. This means that a Hawkewynde computer will never be the cheapest on the market. All Hawkewynde computers are purpose built by technicians who follow tried and tested Philosophies when assembling them.
