Privacy Disclosure Statement

Any information collected by Hawkewynde IT from it's customers is kept strictly confidential. Customer data bases are not for sale and are only accessed by authorised personnel within Hawkewynde IT. Customer information will only be disclosed to third parties on the permission of the customer the information relates to or as required by law. Our customers can access thier information and may request that Hawkewynde IT update or correct any inaccuracies in it.

Access

Our customers are entitled to access their own records at any time convenient to both Hawkewynde IT and the customer. Access can be denied where:

There is a legal impediment to access

That access would unreasonably impact on the privacy of another customer

The request is frivolous

The information relates to anticipated or actual legal proceedings and the customer is not entitled to access the information in these proceedings

In the interests of national security

Hawkewynde IT ask that, where possible, the customer's request be in writing. Hawkewynde IT may impose a charge for photocopying or for personnel resources involved in processing the customer's request.

Where the customer disputes the accuracy of the information that Hawkewynde IT has recorded the customer is entitled to correct that information. It is Hawkewynde IT's policy that steps are taken to record all the customer's corrections, and place them with the customer's file but will not erase the original record.

Consent

It is our policy to obtain written consent from the customer if Hawkewynde IT wishes to disclose information for reference or promotional purposes, such as contact details on our website or sending product updates.

The customer is informed that if they wish to withdraw their consent as to the use and disclosure of information that they provide, they may do so at any time, except when legal obligations must be met.
